What has been the most shocking thing you have learned from reading Chew on This up to this point? Have you told other people what you have been learning? Has it made you think twice about the food that you eat and where it came from? Has it affected your life in any other ways?
The shocking thing I read in chew on this is the slaughterhouses. Very gross.People peeing on the floor.Chickens being boiled to death.Chickens being jumped on.Piglets biting off eachothers tails and the brutality of the slicing and mashing and grinding (the peoples jobs in these slaughterhouses).
